Juliette Shears joined Walton Art Club in 2006.
She has had no formal art education. Her inspiration comes from her frequent travels to Africa, mainly to Kenya and to the Middle East.
She uses oils and paints on location and at the Walton Art Club whenever possible.
Class members have been an enormous help, in encouraging and developing her work over the last 2 years. Africa has been her passion for many years,
The vibrancy and beauty of the landscape, are core themes for her paintings. She has worked in the Environmental sector and in her spare time, supports the "Save The Mountain Bongo" project in Kenya working closely with the local communities, near the Aberdares and Mt Kenya.
